This is a really great small place for coffee lovers!
You know that sometimes, often in the morning, when you walk on the street and you smell fresh coffee but don't know where it comes from, you just have to find out. This morning I could smell extremely good coffee already a mile ahead from finding out that there is actually a somewhat hidden coffee shop in Camden. And this is an actual shop selling coffee, the product and not the drink!
You can buy different types of coffee beans and have them to grind it to your personal need and type of coffee maker.
This is the real stuff, they do their own roasting and grinding, don't have to look further! -

This place is one of the things I miss most about not living in London. Heading down first thing on the weekend, you can smell the coffee down the street. It's unbelievably fresh, ground on site and tastes unlike any other coffee I've had. The man who runs it is a London gem and I hope this shop is around for a long time to come.

I use to think Monmouth was the best place to get coffee in the area, but the Camden Coffee Shop has far better coffee and is less expensive. The nice old man roasting the beans in front of you is really cool to see.
On the down-side, the shops hours can be erratic since it's only the owner, not to mention he's getting on in years. Also, the queues can be quite long, but even with this it still deserves five stars. -

This is where I buy my coffee beans. The old guy roasts small batches so you are guaranteed to get fresh coffee. There is about 8 different kinds of coffees / roasting intensities. I've tried 2 of them and they were both excellent.

Brilliant shop to buy freshly roasted or ground coffee beans. All done on site by George, after taking it over from his uncle back in 1978. You cannot miss the rich aroma of the coffee as it is roasted and grind. The shop is like a little museum, remained unchanged for all those decades, a bit of history. The coffee roaster is 90+ years old. George still likes working the old fashion way, still serving generation of locals and tourists alike.
